Taverners Hill Infants School

Welcome

Taverners Hill Infants School is a small, caring community school devoted to the education of children between 4 and 8 years of age. We provide an easy transition from pre-school and cater specifically for the education and social needs of children in years K, 1 and 2.

Located in Petersham in Sydney’s Inner West, Taverners is nestled between Leichhardt, Annandale, Lewisham and Dulwich Hill. The school is located close to transport, buses go along Railway Street, Crystal Street and Parramatta Road. Petersham station is at the end of Railway Street.

We provide well organised before and after school care and vacation care.

Taverners Hill Infants School offers the right setting for your child’s education: large, attractive, well equipped rooms, grassed outdoor areas, safe play and climbing equipment, wide wooden verandahs adjoining each building and linking all parts of the school. The school is adjacent to a small, well equipped park and is surrounded by high fences and trees.   Taverners Hill Infants School provides a safe, secure learning environment.

A big Taverners welcome to all our new families for 2009 and welcome back to our returning community. If you would like the “Taverners Experience” in 2010 contact the office (9569 6396) for enrolment details or to organise a school tour.

Term 1 Soccer

Got Game soccer clinics begin on February 2nd. Every child will enjoy ten weeks of soccer skills, developing gross motor and co-ordination skills as well their physical fitness with the experienced coaches from Got Game. Look out for photos in the gallery!

Mathletics

Over the holidays the students have been able to access our new subscription to Mathletics. In Term One our teachers are excited about using it to complement class Maths programs. Thanks to our P&C for funding the subscription.
